Having graduated with summa cum laude, Rahim has demonstrated exceptional caliber and outstanding skills since he was pursuing his undergraduate studies. Hailing from Hyderabad, he has worked at two national newspapers (The Times of India & The Hindu), and has been the Youngest Associate Editors for a City Lifestyle Magazine. Throughout all this, he has published an array of front-page stories, breaking news, interviews, features, and surveys. A freelancer in New York, Rahim has published many stories in multiple platforms (print, radio & television). He was a web producer and multimedia journalist for TED Talks, a senior correspondent at IT COMM Week and Journal, a contributory writer at Voices of New York, Gotham Gazette, Mott Haven Herald, and an investigative writer at www.adaptny.org. He is also a member of the Overseas Press Club of America, South Asian Journalist Association, and Asian American Journalist Association. Rahim's accolades include short films that gained excellent recognition in many national film festivals. He was also nominated for a National Award in creative and leadership category. He has also organized over 100 successful programs, events, and initiatives working with a diverse set of organizations and for various age groups ranging from tiny tots to senior citizens. He likes to eat, think a lot, socialize, occasionally read and like to indulge in Smart Discussions (Debate). He cannot live without Technology and Nature. His Department head remarks him that he is a "SMART EINSTEIN" but yes his mom and dad still complain about his addictiveness to T.V.
